This is not practical, if one decides to live in a "better world" there will be no room for self-reliance or individualism which helps breathe new ideas and growth, working together predominantly benefits productivity. There are several ways to improve ones community, such as communication, services to another and understanding. To help the world? That must be a joke. The world has been around for a long time, don't waste limited time on earth to help it, you will be killed by people with power or money.
