Maya Angelou: 1928-2014. Poet, novelist, educator, dramatist, actress, historian, civil rights activist.
The words in the drawing is from one of her most well known poems, Phenomenal Woman. I know I'm not the best at drawing people, but I decided to try in order to pay tribute to this great woman. She will surely be missed.
