If you get the error embedding flash try downloading the SuperNova SWF Enabler as an addon in the google store.

Download the addon, enable it for the site.
Then Click the draw pencil icon.
A new canvas will open, then click the help button.
Choose how do I get the old flash based canvas.
Then you should be able to use the lasso draw tool and all the old tools.
You can save to your drive, but you can't re-open those images to work on them.
You will be able to submit you sketch.
