The straight line tool works in the middle of a stroke by pressing and releasing shift while drawing.
You can blur an entire layer using shift + b + mouse left/right.
You can adjust the alpha of an entire layer using shift + a + mouse left/right.
Can't wait to try it later :o
Is there a list of Sketchport Pro features yet?
Nice on the blur and alpha layers
Aw, I thought this would tell me how to get secret badges :)
Add to the Help/FAQ page?
Probably a silly question, but WHERE DO YOU FIND "COLORS"?
@Mak Hold "d". It's on the help page: http://www.sketchport.com/help.
You can now link your Google+ profile to SketchPort, which will allow your picture to show up next to search results on Google.
To do this, add a Google login to your SketchPort account on the settings page.
Then follow step 2 on this page. The fun stuff in step 1 is already taken care of for you.
Just noticed the new Mute button on peoples profiles. What does it exactly do? Mute person from chat? Dont see any drawings or comments or inspiration or forum threads by that user?
What about a more general mute concept? E. g. being able to mute not only a user but e. g. also a thread to make it no longer appear in the list?
I don't want to give specific details, but you can use it to ignore people who are bothering you. It doesn't mute in the chat yet, but it will eventually. It does hide their comments on your profile and prevent PMs.
There's now a vector curve tool which you can use to precisely place curves. It works similar to the straight line tool, but using CTRL instead of SHIFT.
Step by step:
- Press and hold
SHIFT. - Click and drag to create a line. This will set the start and end points of the curve
- Press and hold
CTRLand move the mouse to adjust the curvature. - Release
CTRLwhen you're satisfied with the curve. - Since you moved your mouse while creating the curve, move the mouse back to the position you want the line to continue from
- Release
SHIFT. - Continue the line or release the mouse button.
It seems like a lot of steps, but after using it for a while, it should feel natural.
There's now a snap to grid mode, which you can use to have all the points on your line aligned to the grid. You toggle it using J. The intended use is in conjunction with the straight line tool to create perfectly straight lines and right angles. It also works well with the curve tool.
Already know this but it will help the others!
