Haha I know those feels. Curve is shift + ctrl. Sort of difficult to explain in a comment so if you have any trouble feel free to ask. You'll find most of the other shortcuts if you press H.

@Yupitsme No it works, you just got to do a straight line and still holding a shift click ctrl and move the mouse :)

Ohh wait i get it now. I was holding shift and control at the same time.. i didn't realize you need to just hold shift THEN click control. lol
