Inspired by Monet

Monet is my very favorite artist. I visted the Met two summers ago. It was like a religious experience seeing his paintings for the very first time. He used incredible thick paint, so much so, that is it literally raised off of the canvas an you can see every crevasse from every brush stroke. It was like you were that close to his actual hand making those brush strokes.
