At the time of the attacks i was only 9 years old, just under 3 months from turning 10. At the times when the planes hit their targets between 8:46 am-10:03am (EST) i was in school safe and sound, about 2 hours from New York City, 2 hours from the pentagon in Washington DC, and 3 from Shanksville, PA which the planes had crashed killing 2,977 people including the 19 terrorists who hijacked the planes that morning. The teachers did not tell us what was going on due to the fact our school is from 1st to 4th grade soo we didnt understand what was going on. When i came home that afternoon, my usual routine is to bug my sister when i come home, her and my other older sister had thier eyes fixed on the TV and i questioned what was goin on and they told me. I still remember the TV being fixed on the same channel the whole day it happened. RIP to all those whom have passed and a special shout to Nick Brandemarti who lost his life in the attacks working in the World Trade Center and lived a few blocks away from my house. He was a star athelete at my high school, and had a good life ahead of him. They say in the US people remember where they were or what they were doing when it hapenned, i still do, do you?

Thank you for drawing this and sharing your story. :) You are right, I do remember where I was, it is one of the only days I do. —  Unbreakable Wings
